Robert S. Adams, Lt. Colonel, USAF (Retired)
June 07, 1933 – December 14, 2023
Robert Swift Adams, 90, of Daytona Beach, Florida passed away Thursday, December 14, 2023. He was born on June 7, 1933, in Springfield, Massachusetts and honorably served in the United States Air Force, earning the rank of Lieutenant Colonel. During his career Robert was a pilot, but he enjoyed many activities such as sailing, camping, playing tennis, and riding his motorcycle.
Robert is survived by his daughter, Dawn Lewis (husband, Chris Lewis); son, Russell Adams (wife, Jennifer Adams); daughter, Emily Potter; son, William Adams; son, John Adams; grandchildren, great grandchildren, and other extended family and friends. He is preceded in death by his loving wife, Sue Carrol Adams, and son in law, Richard Potter.
Services will be held privately at a later date to celebrate a life well lived!
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to a charity of your choice.

As a Captain, Robert S. Adams served a tour in the Vietnam War as a CH-3C/E pilot with the USAF 20th Helicopter Squadron “Pony Express” in the 1966-time frame.
