More detail on this person: Passed away prior to Frank Kelley and Frank who passed in 2009. John Baggs was CP in H-3 flown by Frank Kelley that rescued John Bradford and others from A Shau SF Camp on 9 March 1966.
John T Baggs Jr died on November 11, 1976 at 38 years old. He was buried in Beverly National Cemetery Section M Site 1469, Beverly, New Jersey . He was born on March 17, 1938. There is no information about John’s family.
MAJ Baggs was killed when the U.S. Air Force O-2 observation airplane he was flying crashed in 10 feet of water on a training mission in Mississippi. An article about the crash is in the Biloxi, MS Sun Harold on page 1 for 12 November 1976.
