USAF ROTORHEAD Members

I joined the Civil Air Patrol in 1957. Joined the Air Force in 1961 and served as a firefighter until retirement in 1991. Served as the Civilian Deputy Fire Chief at Kelly Field 1993-98 and Fire Chief at Lackland 1998-2008

1964 – 1969 at Misawa, Japan on HH-43B’s.

1967 – 1969 at Tan Son Nhut AB, RVN on HH-43F’s.

1970 – 1971 at Phan Rang AB, RVN on HH-43F’s.

1972 – 1973 at MacDill AFB, FL. on HH-43B’s and UH-1N’s.
