Eugene B. Becquet age 41, passed away at home on October 16, 2006.

MSgt. Gene Becquet served 20 years in the United State Air Force where he was trained as a Helicopter Crew Chief. He was born in Shirley, Mass, and was currently stationed at Davis-Monthan AFB for the past three years.

He is survived by his wife, Sally and his two children, Brenna and Teagan; his father, George and mother, Jill Becquet, of San Antonio, Texas. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests a donation to help the hungry for the holidays Community Food Bank, 3003 S. Country Club Rd., Tucson, AZ 85713 in Gene’s name.

A viewing will be held at ADAIR FUNERAL HOME, Dodge Chapel, 1050 N. Dodge Blvd., on Friday, 20 October from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. A memorial service will follow at Davis-Monthan AFB at 1:00 p.m. in the Helicopter Hanger. Arrangements by ADAIR FUNERAL HOMES, Dodge Chapel.

Helicopter Mechanic on H-53’s and H-60’s;

1986 – 1990 at RAF Woodbridge, UK.

1990 – 1994 at Hurlburt Field, FL.

1994 – 2003 at RAF Mildenhall, UK.

2003 – 2006 at Davis-Monthan AFB, Tucson, AZ.

16 October 2006 Died of a Heart Attack while on Active Duty.
