Eric H. Blamer, age 43, of Thompsonville, MI, died Fri. Aug. 2, 2013. His burial with military honors was held at Great Lakes National Cemetery, Holly.
Eric was born in West Branch, MI on Feb. 12, 1970 the son of Randy and Priscilla (Harrison) Blamer.
He served his country with the US Air Force and the Air National Guard. He also worked for the Traverse City Area Schools as a Network Administrator. Eric was a proud American who had a strong belief in the US Constitution, and he was an avid hunter and fisherman.
Surviving are his wife Joanie; 2 children, Braeden Harrison Blamer and Jaeden Eric Blamer; parents Randy and Priscilla Blamer of Hessel; brother Robert and wife Shane Blamer of TN; nephew Casey Blamer; and grandmother Evie Pearl Harrison of TN. He was preceded in death by his grandfather Angis Harrison, grandfather Robert Blamer, grandmother Betty Nelson, uncle Johnny Dale Harrison, and aunt Jeri Moore.
