James “Jim” Barry Bourcier, CMSgt., USAF (Retired)
October 15, 1942 – August 20, 2011
Chief Master Sergeant. James “Jim” Barry Bourcier passed away on Saturday, August 20, 2011 after a brief but bravely fought battle with cancer. He was born October 15, 1942, in Vancouver, Washington, to Leslie and Shirley (Graham) Bourcier. He is survived by his loving wife of 20 years, Judi Simons Bourcier; his children, Danielle Hidalgo, Sean Bourcier, Leslie Stevenson, and Kevin Williams; brothers, Les Bourcier and Patrick Bourcier; and sisters, Susie Saratorious, Michelle Blazek, and Nanette Smith; grandchildren, Nicholas Hidalgo, Scott Hidalgo, Rebecca Hidalgo, Jason Williams, Breanne Williams, and Tyler Williams; and great-grandchild, Ryan Hidalgo.
He dedicated his entire adult life to the service of his country. A decorated Air Rescue and Special Operations veteran, he served in Viet Nam, Desert Shield, and Desert Storm. He was a Life Member of The Jolly Green Association.
A Celebration of Life is planned for Oct. 15, details to be announced.
