Preston E Bradley, 80, passed away Thursday, May 15 in Live Oak, Florida

He was born May 20, 1927 in Palmetto, FL. and was a retired Lt. Colonel of the United States Air force

Survivors include; Wife, Marion E Bradley of Dowling Park, FL.; daughter, Joyce Ann Bradley Smith of Madison, FL.; sons, Brad Bradley of Belleview, FL., Dale Bradley of Crestview, FL, and John Bradley of Gainesville, FL.; a brother, Bernard Bradley of Webster, FL.; sisters Sally of Plant City, FL. and Martha of Lakeland, FL.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, May 20, 2008 at 10:00 AM at the Marion Nelson Funeral Home Chapel in Lake Wales with interment to follow at Lake Wales Cemetery with Full Military Honors.

Lt. Col. Bradley served with and was a commander of the 21st SOS in 1971 – 1972.

It was with great sorrow that I learned of the passing of Lt. Col. Bradley. I had the honor of flying with him on many missions in HH-53C helicopters, when he commanded the 21st SOS.
