Luther J. Brown, Colonel, USAF (Retired)
April 14, 1930 – August 11, 1975
Word has been received here of the death of Col. Luther J. Brown of Belvoir, Va., former Marin resident. Brown, who lived in Lucas Valley for several years while stationed at Hamilton Air Force Base, died Aug. 11 at the age of 45.
His last post was as chief ot the Social Actions Division at Air Force Headquarters in Washington, D.C. During his 26-year service career he served in Korea, Libya, Vietnam and the Philippines.
Brown is survived by his wife, Laura: a son, Gary; three daughters, Pamela. Lori and Linda, and his mother. Ella M. Brown. Burial will be in Arlington National Cemetery.
