Clarence Burdick

Clarence served our country for over 20 years.

June 1956, Entered service and was assigned to aircraft mechanic school at Amarillo AFB, TX.

1956 – 1961, at Sheppard AFB, TX. as an instructor.

1961 – 1964, Transferred to School for Latin America, as a aircraft mechanic.

1964 – 1966, at Sheppard AFB, TX. as a mechanic instructor.

1966 – 1967, at Osan AB, Korea with the 33rd ARRS unit as a Rescue Crew Chief.

1967 – 1968, at Nellis AFB, NV. in December 1967 as a Rescue Crew Chief.

1968 – 1969, Assigned to Vietnam with the “Green Hornets” in June 1968 as a Crew Chief/Door Gunner.

1969 – 1970, at Little Rocks AFB, AR. in June 1969 as a Rescue Crew Chief on the HH-43’s.

1970 – 1971, Rescue on Okinawa.

1971 – 1976, Retrained in October 1971 to air conditioning and retired in 1976.
