I just got this word from a friend:
“Hi Kev, I just got this from Steve Cartisano daughter… Hi James, we removed the tubes yesterday at 12:05 and he passed away immediately. He seemed to be already gone so I am glad we didn’t wait any longer. My brothers and I were with him and a prayer was offered that he would be happily reunited with his loved ones, all his dogs and continue to stay close to his family on earth. We are confident that he fought this cancer his way (independent) even though I wanted to slap him silly for it. We love him and will be preparing a service. I will keep you posted on details so you can continue to be a part of his life as we moved forward to honor him. thank you “
Steve was a PJ with me at Moffett Field back in the late 70’s/early 80’s. Blue skies fellow PJ and friend.
