William Edward Clark, Jr., Lt. Colonel, USAF (Retired)
October 30, 1942 – December 05, 2019
William E Clark, Jr. US Air Force LTC retired passed 5 Dec 2019 in Great Falls, MT. Son-in-law, Mack Hinson, states he left specific instructions to his family ~ no obituary ~ no service. He was cremated. The family retains the ashes for possible family burial at some future date.
He was born 30 Oct 1942. He retired with the rank of LTC after serving as a helicopter pilot at Malmstrom AFB near Great Falls for several years. After receiving his wings, he flew B-52s for a while. He then transitioned to helicopters and stayed with them for the rest of his career. He and his family ‘fell in love’ with Montana. The family could not provide details about when he was awarded his pilot wings, which unit or units he served with, what he radio call sign was in SEA, etc

Capt. William E. Clark served in Vietnam in 1965-1966 with Det. 9, 38th ARS and in 1968-1969 with Det. 9, 38th ARRS at Pleiku AB, RVN as a HH-43B/F pilot.
