February 1981 – February 1983 with Det. 4, 40 ARRS at Hill AFB Utah.

March 1983 – March 1986 with 601st TASS at Sembach AB, Germany.

When the Air Force started getting rid of all the good helicopter assignments in late 1985, I crossed trained to C-141B’s and remained at McChord AFB, WA. until retirement (early) due to draw down. Flying in the Air Force was more fun than work, and more rewarding than words. Professional crew members, rescuing people, humanitarian aid, traveling the world…
