Charles Edgar Conn, 57, Bradenton, died May 25, 2002.
He was born Nov. 3, 1944, in Connellsville, Pa., and came to Manatee County in 1986 from Alamogordo, N.M. He retired from the Air Force. He was a Methodist.
Survivors include three daughters, Jennifer of Bradenton, and Pam and Chris, both of Meridian, Miss.; a son, Jeremiah D. of Fort Carson, Colo.; three sisters, Phyllis Murphey of Norton, Va., and Janice Housel and Connie Schover, both of Connellsville; four brothers, Cameron E. of Bradenton, Roger of Connellsville; Ronald of Stafford, Va., and James of Corpus Christi, Texas; and two grandchildren.
A private memorial service will be later in Connellsville. Interment will be at Green Ridge Memorial Cemetery in Connellsville. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the National Kidney Foundation, 1040 Woodcock Road, No. 119, Orlando Fl 32803. Published in Herald Tribune on May 29, 2002

Charles Edgar Conn served a tour with the 20th SOS “Green Hornets” during the Vietnam War in the 1967-1968 time-frame.
