Sad to hear of Dale passing. We kind of followed each other around during our USAF active duty careers. Finally met in person in 1984 at Nellis AFB. We shared a lot of war stories with each other. He was a good person who I am proud to say was my friend. After he left Las Vegas to move to Alabama we chatted once in a while by phone. May Dale Rest In Peace, God bless the family. Hand Salute to a fellow firefighter, friend, and mentor.

I worked with Mr. Curtis in the Air Force and first met him in1984 at Indian Springs AFAF Nevada. I later worked with him again at Nellis AFB, Nevada. He was always great to work with as he was always a stand up guy with a great sense of humor. I’m sad to hear of his passing. My thoughts and prayers are with his family and friends.
