Hardy Lee Delay III, 1st Lt., USAF (Fallen)
December 16, 1949 – July 28, 1982
Lt. Hardy Lee Delay, III, Wichita, Kansas, formerly of Suwanee, died July 28 from injuries received in a helicopter crash in Albuquerque, NM.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Kathy Lee Hogsed Delay, Wichita, KS.; daughter, Kimberly Jean Delay, Wichita; son, Hardy Lee Delay IV, Cumming, GA.; parents, Mr. and Mrs. Hardy Delay, Jr., Suwanee; brother, Mr. Randy L. Delay, Suwanee; grandparents, Rev. and Mrs. C. L. Lawrence, Smith Grove, KY., Mrs. Hardy Lee Delay, Sr., Woodstock.
Funeral service Monday, Aug. 2 at 2 p.m. from the chapel of the Tapp Funeral Home. Rev. Vernie Worley will officate.
Interment, Broadlawn Memorial Gardens with full military honors.
