Donald F. Donk, Major, USAF
June 01, 1932 – March 07, 1983
Donald F. Donk, 50, a resident of Albuquerque for seven years, passed away in a local hospital on Monday.
He is survived by his wife, Sharon Donk of Albuquerque; four sons, Randy Donk of Ogden, Utah, Ronald Donk of Vancouver, Wash., Scott Donk of El Paso, Texas and Timothy Donk of Albuquerque; one sister, Dorothy Doberiner near Palm Springs, Calif.; and three brothers, John, Art and Bud Donk, all of New York.
Funeral services will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. at graveside in Santa Fe National Cemetery, with Pastor Larry A. Wright officiating. Strong-Thorne, 1100 Coal SE, is in charge of arrangements. The family requested that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the American Cancer Society, 5800 Lomas NE 87110.

Major Donk served as a HH-43F helicopter pilot with Det. 8, 38th ARRS in the 1969 – 1970 time-frame.
