Frank Gambale

1971 – 1975: served in USAF as Jet Engine Mechanic on B-52s. Stationed at Beale AFB, CA. TDY to Kadena AFB, Okinawa Sep. – Dec. 1972.

1973 – 1974, PCS to U-Tapao Thailand.

1975 – Last PCS Norton AFB, CA. on C-141’s.

1978 – 1982, USAF Reserves at 302nd SOS Luke AFB, AZ. as an Air Reserve Technician Flight Mechanic on HH-3Es.

1982 – 1984, Left Reserves and worked as a SH-3D Mechanic for the Royal VIP Squadron at King Fahd AFB, Saudi Arabia contracted with Augusta Helicopters.

1985 – Re-entered the Air Force Reserves at 302nd SOS, Luke AFB, AZ.

302nd SOS was de-activated in 1987 and moved to Davis-Monthan AFB, AZ. as the 71st SOS. Served as an Air Reserve Technician Flight Mechanic from 1987-1992 on HH-3Es and 1992 – 1993 on HH-60G.

1994 – 1996, served at Davis-Monthan AFB, AZ. as an Air Reserve Technician Helicopter Crew Chief on HH-60G.

1996 – 2004, served ae Davis-Monthan AFB, AZ. as an Air Reserve Technician Flight Line Supervisor 305th RQS/943rd RQS on HH60G

2004 – 2007, served Davis-Monthan AFB, AZ. as an Air Reserve Technician QA Superintendent 943rd RQS on HH-60G

Retired from USAFR 3 Dec 2007.
