John H. Gill, Lt. Colonel, USAF (Retired)
March 22, 1933 – May 07, 1997
Muncie – Former resident John H. Gill Jr., Clinton, MD., died May 7 at his home.
Mr. Gill graduated from Burris Laboratory School and Ball State University. He was in the Air Force for 22 years before retiring as a Lieutenant Colonel. He was a veteran of the Vietnam War.
Survivors include his wife, Maureen Gill; five children, and two grandchildren. Burial was in Maryland Veterans Cemetery, Cheltenham, MD. Lee Funeral Home, Clinton, MD., was in charge of arrangements.

Major Gill served a Vietnam War tour as a HH-53B/C pilot with the 40th ARRS in the 1969-1970-time frame.
