USAF ROTORHEAD Members

Started out as a WSO in OV-10’s and F-4’s. Went to Helicopter Pilot Training and graduated in 1976. Flew H-3 at Hurlburt and then H-53’s in England and eventually the Pave Low at the 20th SOS. Retired in 1992 from the USAF and then for 14 years 1992-2006 I was a Maintenance Test Pilot at Hurlburt Field on the MH-53 Pave Low Helicopters.

1976 – 1980 with 20th SOS at Hurlburt Field, FL. on CH-3E’s.

1980 – 1983 with 67th ARRS in RAF Woodbridge U.K. on H-53’s

1983 – 1985 with 1550th In Albuquerque, NM. on H-53’s

1985 – 1989 with 67th ARRS on H-53’s.

1989 – 1992 with 20th SOS 1989-1992 at Hurlburt Field, FL. on MH-53 “Pave Lows”.

1992 – Retired from active duty.

1992 – 2006 I was a Maintenance Test Pilot at Hurlburt Field, FL. on the MH-53 “Pave Lows”.
