Retired in Great Falls, Montana, I June 1974 –Major – Command Pilot – 7800 hours in helicopters.

Awarded – Silver Star, DFC w/1 OLC, Meritorious Service Medal, Air Medal w/6 OLC, AF Commendation Medal w/1 OLC, AFOUA w/3 OLC, others.

Aircraft Commander on Longest Overwater Rescue flight for a Land Based Helicopter (450 miles at sea) Alaska 1971.
