Wilber Lee Hamilton
February 14, 1949 – September 21, 2005

Wilber Lee Hamilton, 65 years of age, was born February 14, 1949 in Coleman, Texas and passed away in Abilene on September 21, 2005. Lee, the son of the late W. R. and Ida Hamilton, had lived in Coleman County most of his life.

He was retired from the United States Air Force and the Postal Service. He was married to Judy Young on May 22, 1985 and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Coleman.

Survivors include his wife, Judy Hamilton of Coleman; five daughters, Trish Tomer of Albuquerque, New Mexico, Crystal Norrell and Sherry Bragee, both of St. Louis, Missouri, Heather Hamilton of Coleman, Leisha Hamilton of Gatesville, Texas; four sons, Ed Ellis of Lamirada, California, John Reed, Earl Reed and Chad Hamilton, all of Albuquerque, New Mexico; four brothers W. R. Hamilton, Guy Hamilton, Bill Hamilton and James Hamilton; 26 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

Services were held at Walker Funeral Home Chapel on September 24, 2005 at 10 a.m. with Rev. John Stanislaw officiating with full military honors at the Coleman City Cemetery before the interment.
