Charles “Chuck” F. Hemphill

1970 – Det. 7, 38th ARRSq, HH-43

1971 – Det. 7, 40th ARRWg., HH-43

I served with Pedro at Da Nang and then at Bitburg/Spangdahlem until deactivation of the unit and Pedro in Germany.  If I’m right we were the last Det. to close in Germany. I also belong to Air Rescue and the Pedro Associations.  I was  a firefighter for 26 of my 28 years in the Air Force. I spent 2 years in Recruiting Service.

I presently work for the housing maintenance contractor on Cannon AFB NM, so I get to see a lot of the AD people.
