Thomas C. Hill, Jr., USAF
September 27, 1944 – June 14, 2015

Mr. Thomas C. Hill, Jr., born in Natchez, MS, on 27 September 1944 joined our Heavenly Father on 14 June 2015.

He was a very loving and devoted husband, father and brother. He is preceded in death by his mother, father and one step brother. He is survived by Glenda Hays Hill of Eupora, his wife of 46 happy years, his two daughters Gloria and Heather, two sisters, four brothers, and one step brother.

He graduated from Anguilla High School on 27 May 1963. He served in the U.S. Air Force from April 1964 – April 1968. Tenure included U.S. Air Force SAC duty in the U.S. and a tour of duty in Southeast Asia. During his service, he maintained Huey helicopters and flew on rescue missions both in the Vietnam War and stateside.

He earned his Bachelor of Science with Special Distinction in the College of Agriculture at Mississippi State University on 21 December 1973. He earned his Master of Science at The Graduate School of Mississippi State University in Agricultural Economics on 16 May 1976.

He served two years with the Soil Conservation Service and retired in 2004 after 27 years of Civil Service in the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Vicksburg District Branch.

He will forever be loved, honored and cherished by his family and friends who miss him dearly. (A life well lived.)
