Clarence D. Huffman, USAF (Retired)
June 10, 1942 – March 15, 2023

We regret to announce the passing of Clarence “Dwayne” Huffman of St. James, Missouri, on March 15, 2023, at the age of 80 years, 9 months, and 5 days. Dwayne passed away surrounded by his loved ones, from Alzheimer’s Disease.

Dwayne was preceded by his son, Dwayne Allen, his father, Clarence Huffman, his mother, Alice Marie Huffman and sister Dorothy, brothers Frank, Bill, and Otis.

He is survived by his wife of 54 years Carol Lee (Brake) Huffman; his daughters, Angela Canul, Karen Huffman, and Heather Huffman; 13 grandchildren, Jonathan, Olivia, Joseph, Haven, Lisa, Nicholas, Hannah, Iliana, Dylan, James, Blake, Christopher, and Emma; one great-granddaughter, Ravenna; three brothers, Kenneth, Linnie, and Jack Hyde; and one sister, Donna Parsons.

Dwayne was retired Airforce; he was a Logistics Engineer. He also retired from Flash Tech and Boeing, where he worked as an engineer. He liked to golf, tinker with things, spend time with family, American Legion and VFW, and travel, but most of all he enjoyed just taking off with family for a ride about.

We request donations be made to the Alzheimer’s Association in lieu of flowers. However, flowers can be sent to Craig-Hurtt Funeral Home in Seymour, Missouri.

Dwayne lived a very full life; he leaves behind many friends and family. He loved deeply and lived every moment completely. Words cannot convey our sadness.

There will be a military honors service at Dogwood Cemetery, on Friday, March 24, 2023, at 1:00 p.m.
