This website is dedicated to all veterans and active duty of the United States Air Force, Air Force Reserve, and Air National Guard helicopter groundcrew and aircrew, and the helicopters they flew and maintained.
Hardy Robin Israelson, 63, passed away on Saturday April 27, 2024, in Denton Texas. Hardy was born in Dallas Texas on June 16, 1960, to Hardy and Audrey Israelson.
Hardy is survived by his four children, Jessica Watson, Cassandra Will, Nathan Israelson, and Ashlyn Wilson. Along with his seven grandchildren, Hadden, Nora, Landry, Weston, Miranda, Ryan and Sawyer.
He proudly served eight years in the Air Force as a Flight Engineer Specialist, earning numerous decorations and medals during his tenure. Following his service, he spent the next twenty years working for American Airlines as an overhaul support mechanic until his retirement in 2012.
The family is holding a private funeral service and asks that in lieu of flowers, donations be made in his name to the Wounded Warrior Project. An organization that helps veterans with mental health care.
