USAF ROTORHEAD Members

I was a fire fighter (AFSC A57170) attached to LBR Duties at Hahn AB, Germany, Merle Beach AFB, South Carolina and deployed to Kunsan AB, Korea during the Pueblo incident in 1968 for six months. My total time as an airborne firefighter was six years 11 months.

1965 – 1967 with Det. 8, Hahn AB, Germany on HH-43B’s.

1968 – February-July with Det. 1 (Provisional), Kunsan AB, Korea on HH-43B’s.

1967 – 1971 with Det. 5, Myrtle Beach, SC. on HH-43B’s
