Edward James “Pappa” Koebeernik, Master Sergeant, USAF (Retired)
February 27, 1940 – May 15, 2022
Edward J. Koebernik, 82, of Belleville, IL, born February 27, 1940, in New Jersey, died Saturday, May 14, 2022, at his residence.
Mr. Koebernik retired from the United States Air Force as a Master Sergeant in 1983. Edward was a member of the Jolly Green Para Rescue team. He enjoyed wood working, fishing, and collecting antique guns.
Edward was preceded in death by his loving wife, Ronda Munie; and his parents, John M. and Delores Koebernik.
Surviving are three daughters, Heather (Jason) Coil, Tiffany Garner, and Amber (Andrew) Rohne; a son, Adam Kunz; nine grandchildren, Jordan, Cheyanne, Josh, Jenna, Logan, Dominic, Rhyleigh, Kennedie, and August; a great-granddaughter, Ella; a brother, William Koebernik; nieces and nephews; and cousins.
