Helicopter Mechanic

1967 – 1969, at Moron AB, Spain with the 67th ARRS, as helicopter mechanic, later becoming a crew chief on HH-43, #64-5218.

Unit transferred out of Spain and I was assigned to SAC at F.E. Warren AFB in Cheyenne, WY, as a crew chief on a “H” model Huey.

Promised a promotion AFTER my original discharge date, decided 4 years was enough.

Honorable discharge 2/14/71.
