Ramsey (Pop) Logan Jr., USAF
June 02, 1934 – July 08, 2013
Roseville, California | Age 79
Ramsey (Pop) Logan Jr. was born in Monroe Louisiana. He was the eldest of three siblings.
He graduated from Little Flower Catholic High School. Immediately following graduation he joined the US Air Force and was trained as a helicopter pilot.
Following 4 years of honorable service, Pop moved to San Francisco CA. Where he accepted position with United Air Lines, pursuing career in aeronautics.
As life would have it, Pop was eventually directed to a rewarding career as a Muni Bus Driver. This profession afforded Pop the pleasure of educating & transporting a captive audience of passengers; discussing politics, sports & a litany of thoughts.
It was during this career that he met the love of his life, Bernice. They were happily married for 24 years until her untimely death in 1999.
Pop preceded his death by his parents: Florence & Ramsey Logan Sr.
He is survived by his siblings: Roosevelt & Dorothy of Monroe Louisiana; his biological children and grandchildren: Jackie, Yvonne, Shari Lynn, Gwendolyn &Tamara, Bernice’s Children: Rena Abraham, Lena (Herb) Ingraham, Grandchildren: Kenya (Keith) Owens, Mia (Donald) Love, Great-Grandson: Kendall Owens & a host of devoted friends
