Kettle Falls, Wash. – An Air Force major from Airway Heights was killed in one of two motorcycle accidents Saturday near Kettle Falls.
Marvin R. Loper, 40, apparently was rounding a curve on Highway 25 about 10 miles south of Kettle Falls shortly before noon when the cycle ran off the roadway and hit several poles, state troopers said.
Loper, who was not wearing a helmet, was killed instantly, troopers said.
