Jul. 1979 – Sep. 1979, at Sheppard AFB, TX. for helicopter school.

Sep. 1979 – Jan. 1982, at Eglin AFB, FL. with the 55th ARRS on the HH-53’s. While at Eglin I served with the 20th SOS in the first Rapid Deployment Forces/Operation Honey Badger on the MH-53’s Pave Lows.

Jan. 1982 – May 1984, at Clark AB, PI with the 31st ARRS on HH-3E’s.

May 1984 – May 1985, at Eglin AFB, FL with the 655th CAMS on UH-60’s.

May 1985 – Discharged.

May 1985 – 1987, at Ft. Wayne International Airport, IN., with the 122nd CAMS, Indiana Air National Guard on F-4D’s.
