Col. John H. McLeaish, Jr., age 78, former resident of Sierra Vista, AZ from 1990-2003, died Monday, August 6, 2007, in San Antonio, TX.

He was preceded in death by his sister, Irene Lt. Col. John H. McLeaish, Jr., age 78, former resident for Sierra Vista from Bednarek.

Lt. Col. McLeaish is survived by his wife, Mary Elizabeth McLeaish; his sons, John H. McLeaish III and his wife, Mary Virginia of Sierra Vista, AZ; Christopher M. McLeaish and wife, Mary Katherine of Niceville, FL; Robert C. McLeaish and wife, Linda Sue of Indianapolis, IN; grandchildren, John T. ?”J.T.?” McLeaish and Christopher J. ?”C.J.?” McLeaish, Molly Katherine McLeaish and Hanna Erin McLeaish, Sarah Anne Hargis and Catherine Elizabeth Bredehoeft; great grandchildren, Clyde Ambrose Hargis and Stella Grace Hargis; numerous nieces and nephews.

Burial information: Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery, San Antonio, TX.
