Powell Moore, Lt. Colonel, USAF (Retired)
February 21, 1928 – January 01, 1984
Graveside services for Powell Moore, 55, of 95-129 Ikawelani Place, Mililani, will be at 2:30 p.m. tomorrow at the National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific, Punchbowl.
He died in a helicopter crash off the North Shore Sunday. He was a pilot and president of Hawaiian Helicopters Inc.
He was born in Washington, D.C.
He is survived by his wife, Gloria J.: two sons, Gregory P. and Eric P.’ two sisters, Anna Knight and Mary Sponseller; two brothers, Bruce and Richard: and a grandson.
Borthwick Mortuary is handling arrangements.

Major Powell Moore served in the Vietnam War as a HH-3E pilot with Det. 1 & Det. 2, 37th ARRS in the 1968-time frame.
