AUBURN — Roger Clark Myers, 83, of Auburn passed away Thursday, Dec. 10, 2015, at Lutheran Hospital in Fort Wayne.
He was born March 22, 1932, in Pleasant Lake to Glen L. and Gladys (Lucas) Myers.
Roger was plant engineer at Rieke Corp. in Auburn working there 37 1/2 years before retiring in 1994.
He was a U.S. Air Force veteran. He was stationed in San Marcus, Texas, where he was a helicopter mechanic instructor.
He is a member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church and was a proud, 60-year member of the Knights of Columbus.
He married Joan Miller on March 10, 1954, in San Marcus, Texas, and she survives in Auburn.
He is also survived by four children, John (Sharon) Myers of Ashley, Marilyn Myers of Auburn, David Myers of Auburn and Mary Anne Gorman of Auburn; four grandchildren, W. Patrick (Kally) Myers of Auburn, Andrea Noll of Ashley, Christopher Gorman of Auburn and Grace Gorman of Auburn; three great-grandchildren, Kayden, Braxton and Mikenzie; a brother, Robert (Nancy) Myers of Warren, Ohio; and a sister, Sophia Rosol of Annapolis, Maryland.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be 11 a.m. Monday, Dec. 14, 2015, at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Auburn with Father Derrick Sneyd officiating. Burial will be in Immaculate Conception Catholic Cemetery in Auburn.
Calling is from 2 to 6 p.m. Sunday at Feller and Clark Funeral Home, 1860 Center St., Auburn, Indiana. Additional calling is one hour prior to the service at the church on Monday from 10 to 11 a.m. A rosary will be recited Sunday at 6 p.m. at the funeral home.
Preferred memorials are to the Myasthenia Gravis Foundation of America.
