William Nealis, USAF
August 4, 1941 – November 23, 2016

William was a resident of Morris, New York at the time of his passing.

He graduated from Belleville High School in 1959.

Bill’s ‘senior trip’ was his first tour with the U.S. Air Force to Vietnam. As the conflict escalated, Bill decided to join the U.S. Navy. Serving on the America, he did see more of the world, but his USAF experience, maintaining helicopters (Hueys) led him back to Vietnam. Concerned about family Bill set aside his dream of a military career.

He was married to Carol Krause.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, November 26, 2016, 4:00PM at the United Methodist Church of Morris.
