I offer my deepest condolences to his family. He was a great mentor and friend. He will be sorely missed. Even though I haven’t had much contact with him since we worked together at Eglin AFB, I have often thought of his quiet leadership and deep loyalty. He was a very good friend. I am sorry for your loss.

My condolences go out to his family and his nieces and nephews. I have not seen or spoke to Alan in close to 40 years. From what I saw in the pictures, he grew up being a loving husband and a dedicated father and grandfather.

Peaceful thoughts & prayers for all. May many wonderful memories sustain you at this time.
My husband Cal rented the building on Richard Road for over 20 years. For a few years after Cal passed, I continued to feed two stray cats that lived there. Al was not bothered by the cats and kindly let them remain, along with the raccoons, opossums and other critters! Thanks Al!
Sincere sympathy.
