Dan Nungesser passed away on 15 August 2023. Dan received multiple awards for his service during the Vietnam war as USAF Pararescueman (PJ) including Silver Star, Distinguished Flying Cross, Air Medal and Vietnam Service Medal. A Celebration of Life ceremony will take place on 25 August at 3:30 PM at Somerby Sr. Living Center, 200 Rockaway Road, Peachtree City, GA 30269.

Sgt. Nungesser served in the Vietnam War as a PJ with the 40^th ARRS and Det. 8, 38^th ARRS on HH-43F’s and HH-53C’s in the 68/69 & 72-time frames.
