1969 – 1970, at Udorn RTAFB, Thailand, with the 40th Air Rescue and Recovery Squadron as a HH-53 Pilot.

1970 – 1975, at Hickam Air Force Base, HI. with the 6594th Test Group as a CH-53 Pilot.

1975 – 1976, at The U.S. Navy’s Patuxent River, MD., Flight Test Center with The United States Naval Test Pilot School (USNTPS) as a UH-1, H-58, AH-1, H-2 and H-46 Pilot.

1976 – 1979, at Kirtland AFB, NM., with the 1550th Aircrew Training and Test Wing as a HH-53 and Pavelow Pilot.

1980 – 1985, at Kirtland AFB, NM., with the Air Force Operational Test and Evaluation Center (AFOTEC) as a HH-53 and HH-60 Pilot.
