Dennis served our country for over twenty two years and served in the helicopter career field the following dates at;
1960 – 1961, at Kincheloe AFB, MI. on H-43’s as a Helicopter Mechanic.
1961 – 1963, at Spangdahlem / Ramstein AB, Germany on H-19’s and H-43’s as a Helicopter Mechanic.
1963 – 1965, at Patrick AFB, FL on H-3’s as a Helicopter Flight Mechanic / Helicopter Mechanic.
1965 – 1966, at Tan Son Nhut / Da Nang / Cam Ranh Bay, RVN and Udorn, Thailand with the 20th HS “Pony Express” on the H-3’s as a Flight Mechanic / Helicopter Mechanic.
1966 – 1967, at Eglin AFB, FL. on H-3’s and H-53’s as a Flight Engineer Instructor.
1967 – 1968, at Dover AFB, DE. on H-3’s as a Flight Engineer.
1968 – 1969, at Eglin AFB, FL. on H-3’s and H-53’s as a Flight Engineer / Instructor / Examiner.
1969 – 1971, at Hill AFB, UT. on H-53’s as Flight Engineer / Instructor / Examiner.
1971 – 1974, in the Panama, CZ. on H-3’s as a Flight Engineer / Instructor/Examiner.
1974 – 1975, at Hayward AFB, CA. on H-3’s as an Air National Guard Base Advisor Flight Engineer / Instructor / Examiner.
1975 – 1982, at Kirtland AFB, NM. on H-3’s and H-53’s as a Flight Engineer / Instructor / Examiner.

Obituary
Dennis W. Palmer, 70, a resident of the Forest Grove community, died Friday evening, May 8, 2020, at his home.
Private Cremation Rites were held at Hoyt Crematory in Forest Grove.
Arrangement are entrusted to Tualatin Valley Funeral Alternatives in Hillsboro.
