Lew Elbert Phillips, age 74, of Porterville, passed away on September 20, 2011.

He was an Aircraft Pilot.

Graveside services will be held at Mountain View Cemetery, Fresno, on Fri., Sept. 23, 2011, at 2:00 PM. Arrangements by Myers Funeral Service & Crematory, Porterville.

Captain Lew E. Phillips served in the Vietnam War as a HH-43B/F pilot with Det. 4, 38th ARRS and 37th ARRS in the 1965-1966-time frame.
