Obituary for HOMER L. RAMSEY
Homer Levi Ramsey, 78, of Udall, Kansas, died Monday, October 29, 2007 at Via Christi Medical Center, Wichita, Kansas. He was born July 17, 1929 in Fort Scott, Kansas. He retired from the United States Air Force as a Master Sgt. and also the Civil Service and later operated heavy equipment. He served in Korea and Vietnam.
He was a member of the VFW and Elks.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one son, Jonnie Ramsey. Survivors include one son, David Ramsey of Wichita, Kansas; two daughters, Dianna Brooks of Udall, Kansas and Tammy L. Ramsey of Girard, Kansas; eight grandchildren and eight great grandchildren and cousins, Rosalie Donaldson, Anita McSwain and John Ramsey.
Graveside services will be held at 10:00 AM, Friday, November 2, 2007 at the National Cemetery, Fort Scott, Kansas with military rites by the Olson-Frary-Burkhart VFW Post #1165 of Fort Scott.
