John A. Raper, Lt. Colonel, USAF (Retired)
July 05, 1931 – March 13, 2010
John Austin Raper, 78, passed away Saturday, March 13, 2010. He was preceded in death by his wife, Jessica Ann Raper.
He is survived by his children, Jennifer Ann Raper of Albuquerque, Justin Allen Raper and wife, Erika Munz of Edgewood, NM; two grandchildren, Kurt and Skyler Munz-Raper; three brothers Bill Raper (Geraldine) of Merrimac, MA, Jim Rader of Powhatan, VA and Leon Rader (Jewell) of Gallatin, TN.
In lieu of flowers, the family request that donations be made to the Animal Humane Association of New Mexico, 516 Virginia SE, 87108 or the Roadrunner Food Bank of New Mexico 5840 Office Boulevard NE Albuquerque, NM 87109.

Major John A. Raper served in the Vietnam War as a HH-3E pilot with the 37th ARRS & Det. 1, 40th ARRS in the 1970-time frame.
