Chester R. Ratcliffe Jr., Colonel., USAF (Retired)
February 10, 1925 – September 14, 1981
RATCLIFFE, CHESTER R. JR., 56, retired Colonel for the U.S. Air Force, 663 Bay Esplanade, Clearwater Beach, died Monday (Sept. 14, 1981).
Born in Buffalo, N.Y., he came here in 1976 from Faiview Heights, Ill.
He was a member of Anchorage Alaska Chapter Quiet Birdmen, Jolly Green Pilots Association, Reserve Officers Association and was and Air Force veteran of World War II and Korea.
Survivors included his wife Jean C.; four sons, Robert K., Lou E., Kelly S., all of Clearwater Beach, and Chester R. III, Fairview Heights; four daughters, Linda M. Ratcliffe, Julie F. Ratcliffe, Kimberly A. Ratcliffe, all of Clearwater Beach, and Pamela J. Wilson, Arleta, Calif.; his father Chester R. Sr., Buffalow: a sister Mary Ann Stengle, Emmaus, PA.; five grandchildren, two nephews and a niece.
