James F. Ripka, USAF
October 15, 1944 – June 08, 2012
James “Jim” Ripka, age 67, of Hampton, Florida passed away June 8, 2012, at his residence. Jim was born in Utica, NY on October 15, 1944, to the late Frederick Ripka and Rose Hadfield-Ripka. Jim grew up in New York Mills, NY and proudly served his country in Vietnam as a Rescue Helicopter Pilot in the United States Air Force. Jim enjoyed boating and working on his computer. He also loved to read and travel. Above all, Jim was known as a caring and honorable person who will be missed by his family and friends.
He is survived by his loving wife of 40 years, Fe Ripka of Hampton, FL; his daughter, Suzanne Jill Ripka of Bradenton, FL; his sister-in-law Precy Tinio and his grandson, Jordan Ripka.
Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, June 16, 2012, at 10am at Santa Fe Cemetery. Arrangements are under the care and direction of Archie Tanner Funeral Services, Starke, FL. 904-964-5757.

Capt. James (Jim) F. Ripka served in the Vietnam War as a HH-3E pilot with the 33rd ARRS with TDY to Vietnam in the 1972-1973-time frame.
