Ralph Schwiderske

Nov. 1979, I enlisted in the AF. Basic training and then Tech School in Wichita Falls Texas (light lift).

1980 – 1984, My first duty assignment was Indian Springs AFAF, NV. (UH-1N).

Feb. 1984 – Dec. 1988, I left there and went to Vandenberg AFB, California (UH-1N).

Dec. 1988 – Jan. 1983, I left Vandenberg and went to Andrews AFB, Maryland (UH1-N).

Jan. 1983 – Jan. 1993, I left Andrews and went to Osan AB, South Korea for a year (the mighty MH-53J Pave Low) (Gods Helicopter!!!!).

Feb. 1993 – 1996, I went to Patrick AFB, Florida (HH-3E and then MH-60G’s). 

1996 – the Air Force moved the whole unit to Moody AFB, Georgia (MH-60G). I retired from the AF there.

I now work for the Department of Army at Fort Rucker, Alabama for the Aviation Technical Testing Center.
