William F. Seals was born May 24,1939 in Miami, Oklahoma and died January 6,2023 in Rockledge Fl.
He graduated with military honors from Oklahoma State University. He went on to be an Air Force helicopter rescue pilot before spending his career as a long-haul Captain with Braniff, Piedmont, US Air and American Airline.
His love of music led him to start a bluegrass band and he sang and played the fiddle, and many string instruments. His group performed throughout Brevard County. In addition to flying and boating he enjoyed photography, scuba diving and painting. His Cairn Terrier Darby was his faithful companion for over fourteen years.
He was an ordained Deacon in the Anglican church and Chaplain at the Brevard sheriff’s department.
He leaves behind Treva, his wife of forty years; a son, Jim and daughter, Lisa and five grandchildren; brother, Jim and Margaret Seals.
In lieu of flowers send remembrance and donations to Prince of Peace Anglican Church at 6895 Murrell Road, Melbourne, Florida 32940.
A visitation gathering will be held from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Friday, January 20, 2023, at the Life Event Center at Florida Memorial, 5950 South US Highway 1, Rockledge, FL 32955. Funeral will be held at Prince of Peace on Saturday, January 21, 2023 at 11:00AM.
Burial at Cape Canaveral National Cemetery in Mims, Florida.
