Chief MSgt. John Denzel Selfridge, age 53 of 103 Jackson St., Ft. Walton Beach FL., passed away Wendsday, Sept. 8, 1993 at his home. He was born Jan 30, 1940 at Altoona, PA.

He was a Flight Engineer in the U.S. Air Force at Hurlburt Field, FL. He was a veteran of four years service in the U.S. Marine Corp. and 25 years in the U.S. Air Force, was a veteran of Vietnam and was awarded the Distingushied Flying Cross and Defense Meritorious Service Medal.

He had resided in Florida since 1970 and was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church.

Survivoirs include his wife, Florida Selfridge of Ft. Walton Beach; daughteres, Pam Kozlowski of Garfield Hts., OH., Kim Harrison of Guam and Justine Selfridge of Navarre; two grandchildren; brothers, G. Thomas Selfridge of Scotla, NY. and Andrew P. Selfridge of Alplaus, NY.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m., Monday, Sept. 13, 1993 at the Hurlburt Field Chapel (Florida) with Fr. Doyle officiation.

The family suggests memorial contributions be made to Hospice of Northwest Florida, Inc.

Arrangements are under the direction of Aultman Furneeral Home, 492 E. Pine Ave., Crestview, FL.
