Gerardo “Jerry” Sorrentino Jr., SSgt., USAF (Fallen)

SSgt. Gerardo “Jerry” Sorrentino, Jr. entered this life on 25 May 1946 in Manhattan, NY. Departed this life on 22 October 1973 at Osan, Korea.
He is survived by his wife Ester and two daughters; Lisa and Jennifer of Salina, KS. His father, Gerardo Sorrentino, Sr. His mother Amelia Martinez and step-father, Ramon Martinez of Brookly, NY. Two sisters; Edith Sierra and Miriam Rodriquez of New York City, NY. and one step-brother, Luis Martinez of Brooklyn, NY.
Sgt. Sorrentino attended Aviation High School in Queens, NY.
His assignments included Lackland AFB, TX.; Perrin AFB, TX.; Da Nang AB, RVN; Elmendorf AFB, AK.; Sheppard AFB, TX. and Osan AB, Korea.
