USAF ROTORHEAD Members

Stephen P. Trudell

Served with the USMCR as an amphibious assault vehicle operator stationed in Gulfport, MS as the Seabee base.

Got and inter-service transfer to the USAF in 1966 and was stationed at Hurlburt Field, FL. Served as a helicopter mechanic with the 834th AGS and the 20th SOS on HH-53H’s and MH-53J’s. At the end of my tour I separated with an Honorable discharge.

I stayed out about a year then, missing the brotherhood, I joined the 20th SFG and attended Ft. Gordon for radio and secure communications equipment repairer. After this tour I received my 2nd Honorable discharge having served a total of 9 years of military service.
