A short biography detailing your military service. Flight Surgeon Med. Tech. 67 to 71. First permanent assign to Eglin. Trained & served on the HH-43B Pedro’s there until assigned to NKP, Thailand in Oct 69. Assigned to 56th USAF Dispensary. In 70 promoted to SSgt., named Base NCO of Month, I think June 70. Late 69/early 70 the Pedro Det. from Pleiku was shut down and moved to NKP. I was assigned to Det. 9 as a Med. Tech. working with PJ Michael Dean. In May or June of 70, SSgt. Dean was on a 53 mission that was shot down with no survivors. Following that I was the chief Med. Tech. and also became a Flight Examiner. I left the Air Force in late May 71 just a couple weeks shy of my 4-year mark
